3 Still Life

4 Abstract Architecture

I really think the bright colors. I think it gives the photo an extra kick. Not only are you seeing a building but the reflection of the blue sky shown on the glass allows you to see the other building across the street which I thought was an interesting play on architecture.

I love this photo and how by changing the blue hue it changes the photo to seem very metallic and flat. I think with the background a flat color it draws the viewers attention to the straight lines that repeat and seem to fall off the page. I find it to be really interesting.

This is my favorite of my architecture shots. I think of this photo to be a glass ocean. The shade of blue and reflections of light and dark make the glass of the building seem like its moving. I think the tilt of the lines on a diagonal rather than being straight gives the photo a flowing motion.

I'm really interested in bright sharp colors of my abstract photography. When I think of abstract photography I think of flat colors in areas you wouldn't normally see them. I like changing photography and allowing the photos to be seen as artistically as possible when it comes to abstract style work.

3 Abstract artists

Caravaggio- Still Life from the 18th Century-  Caravaggio is my favorite oil painter and he has such great details in his paintings it makes it look as though its as though its a photograph rather than painting. The time and amount of detail and effort that must have been put into his paintings are beyond belief. I hope to base some of my future paintings off Caravaggio style paintings.

Back when Titanic sank April 14, 1912 the world though they had lost the most valuable and beautiful ship to have ever be created. But thank God with the help of photography and the creation of the digital camera capable of deep sea diving we were able to recover a long lost buried treasure that is still beautiful today. Buried at the bottom of the ocean more than 30 miles deep with a story and tragic end that killed hundreds the Titanic was finally recovered and the people of today can see what once was and what it has now become. Its beautiful.

I've always loved wedding photography and I admire those who do wedding photography. Each wedding is different and expresses on an intimate level the love shared between the couple on that day. I wish to one day do family, child, and wedding photography again and I hope that my skills learned in Tyler help me to make people's special days captured forever in pictures they'll want to share forever with everyone.

A Day in the Life of an Ice Storm

When we had an ice storm the other week at school I was stuck inside for the night listening to the hail hit against my window pane. The sound was soothing though after a while and I thought about how it could probably make some really beautiful pictures if I could capture the hail. On this blog I've attached a few pictures showing the hail and rain against my window. It has a delicate feel to it and reminds me of a soft mellow soothing feeling. I've edited the photos also to add a flare and exaggerate the highlights of water and ice on the window pane.

Assignment 2A- WB of the Seasons

This is my favorite series to show the white balances. Using the different white balances against the glass, ice and snow the picture changes and the light reflecting casts itself in a shade ranging from orange  to yellow to white to blue. Its interesting and the range you can get is beautiful.

Assignment 2B- The Seasons

These photos are what I believe to be the best from my series of photos on the 4 seasons. I really thought capturing the feel with the color or mood of the lighting was more important rather than just getting the typical or well known ideas associated with the seasons captured. I think these four pictures are the best from my small collection of seasons and show an aspect on the season's that some people may overlook or sometimes take for granted/forget.

A Tune Your Head

These top three I feel express me the best and show a part of me, my future, or my personality. I love the lighting, the mood, and settings created in these 3 pictures.
